PC won't boot after trying to install Windows 11
Hello, after several weeks of hesitation, I finally accepted Windows' offer to install Windows 11 on my Windows 10 PC. After the installation, which took place in my absence at night, the PC no longer starts. I only have access to Dell Assist screens. DELL utilities to recover Windows cannot do this. I do not know what to do. I specify that it is an Inspiron 5570 bought in 2018. To which I added an SSD on which I had transferred the system. I made a backup of important data for me (with Dell utility). I'm ready to reinstall Windows 10 by erasing everything. But how to do it ? And I don't know if and how to find my Windows license number. Can you help me ? Put me on a track?
Thanks a lot !
Fred

If you are going to clean install, why not just install Win 11? Do you have some OEM software you need to keep? Your license is kept online once you activated Win 10. If it asks for a license, just skip it and it will activate, after some time, online.
Beyond that, I never let my system do a build upgrade without watching it. If you did not interrupt the process, it should have at least rolled back to Win 10. So perhaps something regarding the current configuration interrupted the process.

Reset or Reinstall Windows 11
Step 1: When Windows 11 fails to boot, go to WinRE. Step 2: Under the Troubleshoot window, click Reset this PC. Step 3: Choose the first option in the new pop-up to keep your files. Then, follow the on-screen instructions to finish resetting your Windows PC.
