RAM upgrade on a Dell Inspiron 15 5577

Hey, I'm a videographer and editor, I also make 3D models and some basic animation. I want to know which one of the RAM models mentioned below is the best for my laptop which has a i5 7th gen processor with 4GB Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050.

HyperX 16 GB 2400 MHz https://www.hyperxgaming.com/us/memory/impact-ddr4

Crucial Ballistix 16 GB 2400 MHz

I'm planning to use the laptop for the next 2 years at least and I'll be working on heavy softwares. Please let me know which one works best.

Assuming HyperX works (and I've never seen Kingston certify it for any Inspiron system), it won't perform any faster than Crucial RAM.  Given that Crucial guarantees compatibility and is likely less expensive, it's the better choice.  Kingston does sell RAM tested to work with Dell systems - but HyperX is not it.

I have a 5577, I use it in my recording studio not for gaming.

Dell's have a history of memory compatibility with non-Dell branded memory.  Some brands/models will work in one and not in another of the same  model.  Crucial memory specific for a model is suggested as it is guaranteed to work in a Dell.

Here is the Crucial listing for the 5577:

Hey!

Thanks for that. According to Dell and the RAM manufacturers, both Crucial and HyperX are compatible with my laptop.  I I want to know which one is better and and would give me a better performance than the other.
