Touchpad Performance Deteriorates

Hi,

Hoping someone can help. So this is on a Dell Inspiron 16 Plus. Had about 2 weeks but first noticed this a week ago. 

After a little bit of use, i.e not immediately upon startup, the touchpad will become difficult to use. It's intermittent in terms of whether or not it will detect me moving the mouse or clicking. When I can move it, the cursor will jitter up and down, i.e I can now move it in a straight line. It may stop moving half way through, so for example if I was dragging and object it may drop it half way through the movement.

This is temporarily resolved each time via a restart.
