WiFi Card Compatibility Dell G7 15 7588, Dell Wireless 1820A

Does anyone know if the Dell Wireless 1820A card is compatible with the Dell G7 15 7588?

Originally, the laptop comes with an Intel Wireless-AC 9560. Both Wireless cards have a form factor of M.2 2230, but from pictures, it looks as though the DW1820A has 3 notches, whereas the 9560 only has two.

Thanks.

Notches on the card side are fine, because it simply means that it doesn't need pins at those contacts within the M.2 slot in order to operate, but obviously a notch won't prevent the card from being inserted.  But just out of curiosity, I'm curious why you would want to replace an Intel 9560 with a Dell 1820A.  The 9560 is Intel's top-end card except for the brand new AX200 that hasn't quite made its way into laptop builds from the factory yet (although there's no rush since 802.11ax hasn't made its way into the market overall either), and it supports Bluetooth 5.  The 1820A only supports Bluetooth 4.2 and I'm fairly certain has a chipset that provides a lower theoretical max WiFi throughput.

You may want to keep in mind the 9560 is a special card which does not contain all the components a normal Wi-Fi card does.  Some of the components are on the Chipset/Processor and may allow for certain types of operations, possibly low power operations, a normal card would not.

Hi I've recently ran into a problem with my dell G7 7588 the audio stopped working says everything ok but nothing from built in speakers, (this was for info only not my query) a day later the wi-fi stopped working after resetting & attempting to update with out any success (says everything up to date) I replaced the wi-fi card from a 9560 to ASX 200. System can see card in device manager, says it is working. Can see it under network connections says is enabled but can't get it working. What am I missing?
