need to find and buy screen
My screen is broken and I want to replace it.
But the problem is when i go to amazon, it shows in description like it is 40 pin connector not 30 , etc and is also very expensive.
How can I find the exact screen for my laptop, and from where can I buy it cheap? amazon? dell store?
the sticker on the laptop says inspiron 15 3000 series 15.6 hd display.
I live in in India,Mumbai (malad east).

Look up the exact part number one of two ways:
Dell support page, service tag, original configuation, or
Remove the panel -- the part number is on the back label.
Most standard screens are 30pin. Touch and or touch/digitizer screens tend to use a 40pin connector.
Best is to find an exact match.

If you search, it's for sale at multiple places globally - you'll need to narrow the search to local (or contact Dell directly).

the part name is DCR74 but i cannot find anyone selling it...
