Isilon Infiniband network
Hello,
Is there any way to verify which ib port on Isilon node connected to which infiniband switch ? We wanted to make sure connections are properly established to the right port-switch. Pls suggest.

In OneFS 8.x, few commands where introduced for IB :
/usr/bin/isi_ib_bug_info
/usr/bin/isi_hwtools/isi_ib_perf
/usr/bin/isi_hwtools/isi_ib_fw
/usr/bin/isi_hwtools/isi_ib_info

Akshay,
I am looking at the similar information. It's only showing Port information on the Isilon node perspective. Is there any where Switch mac address is stored on the Isilon side. Some time ib switches are not on the network so difficult to console every time.

You shouldn't need to connect-to or manage the IB switches, they are designed to be off-network and left completely alone.

Its not for management, just for verification purpose, if there is any way.

None that I know of aside for tracing and properly labeling all the cables.
