Audio\video Sync

Hey everyone!

I'm having a little problem with my DELL INSPIRON 15 Z ultrabook (WINDOWS 8):

when notifications (EXEs,battery warnings,ecc...) appear on the screen,it takes 4-5 seconds to the sound sistem to make the classic suond of notification, the same when I play videos on web (e.g. 8-9 seconds in Youtube to load the audio, when the video already started)

As in past this problem didnt occure,Why sholud I do?:emotion-40:

Thanks in Advance,

TG

Hi TrafalgarG,

I suggest that you update the audio driver from the link given below:

http://dell.to/11cbMrS

Restart the system after the driver update.

Also restore the audio settings to its defaults. Follow the steps given below:

  1. Launch Charms from the Desktop interface.
  2. Click Settings.
  3. Click Control Panel and click IDT Audio Control Panel to launch the utility
  4. Navigate to Advance tab and click Restore to restore all audio levels to factory default settings.

Note: The steps provided are for Inspiron 15Z (5523), let me know if you have different model.
Check for the audio and revert for further assistance.
