Configuration

Please can anyone help. I have purchased an Inspiron 1545 a few months ago. I have downloaded urgent updates from the dell site. Everything was fine but now the laptop is starting to perform slow and keeps freezing. Bought the new laptop because my old one was just beyond use due to freezing and behaving slow hence the agitation that the new one is doing the same. I have run a scan and it it saying my 3 mobile broadband needs configuring and that it has trouble with the VxD loader. I have no idea how to configure or what a VxD loader is. If anyone can help that would be great. Heidi
