DDR3L Ram for Inspiron 3521

Hi guys,

I have a Dell Inspiron 3542 laptop with 4GB DDR3L Ram stick. I'm going replace it with 8GB DD3L RAM. My new friend needs to use my 4GB DD3L ram on his Dell Inspiron 3521. I saw on the internet 3521 has single 4GB SODIMM. Is it ok to use DDR3L ram with SODIMM ram??
