Dell 5547 Can,t acces the bios
Hello guys,
I wanted to acces my bios to do some tweaks, but i got something strange.
It said, dcsboot has been blocked by current securtiy pollicy.
Does anyone know how to change the pollicy.

What do you see on the screen when you get this message? Are they any more text and if so what is it, are they any buttons or blanks where you could possibly type in a password, are any other codes given? It sounds like the system is asking for a bios password and if so there should be more information.
Was anything added to the system just prior to getting this message, any updates or new devices, the more information that you can provide the better.

I just saw an empty screen with the text that i wrote above, and the only option was ok. when ik pressed ok it just went to my normal login screen. The only thing i was trying to add was full disk encryption. It looks like the program didn,t get any premission. the strange thing is after i did an bios update, i can acces the bios again. A little strange.

So you are able to access the BIOS after running an update, that is good news, do you remember what version of the BIOS that was installed and to what version that you updated it to?
