Dell Control Point connection Manager Problem

I get the message: "Currently unable to communicate with the DELL ControlPoint Connection Manager service.  This application will now exit.  Please contact your IT department or Dell customer service for further assistance" when trying to open Connection manager.

Vista business 32, E6400.

Tried Latest drivers and DCP.

Not sure when it started.

Tried reinstalling, etc. no luck....

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated....

I am also experiencing this same issue.  However, we are running XPSP2 on our E6400.
