Dell E6430 not connecting when used with docking station
Hi all,
I am having problems with a dell latitude E6430 laptops (two) not connecting when used with a docking station. It worked normally for about a week or so after which it could no longer connect to the network when used with a docking station. When it is connected solo (out of the dock), it takes a while to connect and then it connects with 100Mbps instead of 1Gbps; when forced to negotiate with 1Gbps, it says Network Cable Unplugged. I have tried uninstalling and installing drivers and upgrading the BIOS to no avail.
Can anyone shed some light on this please???
Thanks

Same problems here with a E6430 and a E6330. The LAN connection used to work normally through the port replicator, then stopped working while the Laptops were docked. We had a DELL technician replace the Mainboards (where NIC and docking port are located), this resolved the issue.

We have the same problem with the e6430 (6pcs). Is there a known solution? Replacing the motherboard didn't help.....
