Dell Inspiron 1420: Replacing HDD WD2500BEVS-75UST0 with a new Samsung SSD

Hi guys...

I bought a Dell Inspiron 1420

Now I want to replace its HD with this SSD: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00E3W1A64/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER about to 500GB or 750GB. This model is one of the best-selling products in Amazon.

My question is: is this SSD a best option in order to replace my old HDD?

Hoping to see your answers..

Thanks in advance.

Yes, it's best option to move from conventional HDDs to SSDs.

Pros:

The performance is improved with low power consumption and the noise is reduced. Most importantly, SSDs do not have moving parts, so the data is safe in the event of dropping or severe vibrations of the laptop.

Cons:

Data recovery is quite tough compared to conventional HDDs, if SSDs fail.
