Dell Inspiron 1564 random shutdown

Hello

Yesterday and last week (I don't know when anymore) my laptop random shutdown'd

I have no idea what I'm doing wrong but this is a bit annoying.

I was thinking its something of the USB port where my printer is connected but I'm not sure.

Anyone have idea's what the problem could be?

Hi Justindelta,

Please unplug the battery and the adaptor, press and hold power button for 10 seconds and then plugin the adaptor. Perform PSA diagnostics by pressing and holding the “Fn” key while turning on the system. Hold it down until the diagnostic starts. Click the link below for additional information about PSA diagnostics and error codes:

Please make a note of the error code if you get any.

Diagnostics will help us isolate the issue.

You can also update the BIOS of the computer. Please click the link mentioned below:

http://dell.to/XyrgGq

Enter the Service Tag of the computer and choose the Operating System installed on the computer (32-bit or 64-bit). Please update the latest version of BIOS available. Ensure that it might take time to update the bios so please do not turn off the system while the update is getting installed.

Thanks & Regards
