Dell Inspiron 15r N5010 dead, will not turn on
Hi,
I have had the above laptop for about 18 months, it is the 5010-7509 model number.
Today whilst using it the computer just suddenly lost power and the screen went blank along with all the lights. I have tried removing the battery and AC power and holding down the power button but no joy.
When I put the AC power lead in the green light stays on.
Any ideas??

Hi buster30,
This might be a motherboard failure .Please let me know if the computer is completely dead or if there is any Light on the power button. Also let me know if there are any beep sounds.

My Dell computer same type, same issue. no light at all but keeps beeping.

Can this topic be revived?? My Dell Inspiron N5010 died while using it. Will not power up, no lights or audible beeps. Completely dead.
Tried a different charger, still no response.
Please help.
