Dell Inspiron 17R and Accuweather Desktop Gadget

My Inspiron 17R came with the Accuweather gadget already installed.  I have never had an issue with it.

This morning, I noticed temperature said 0° and time was 4 hours later than it actually is here.  My task bar shows the real time and date.  I went to the settings for the gadget and put in my zip.  It says not found.  I tried a few other zip codes from my area and got "no results."  I typed in a zip from NYC and it showed "New York, NY."  When I clicked on that, it said it couldn't connect to the service.

I don't think there was a problem with it yesterday.  Started this AM when I turned on computer.

Anyone know what is causing it and how I can fix it?

Thank you.

Gadgets have been discontinued ever since it was discovered that they are a security risk. Uninstall all the gadgets on your computer. If you are talking about apps which are not gadgets, uninstall and reinstall the non working app. Or consider using  a diff app from the many weather apps.

Thank you, Mary.  I will uninstall and find something else.
