Dell Inspiron 510m Laptop

I am trying to install software for a Logitech C270 webcam on my laptop. I have been unable to install this software. The problem seems to be installing the USB drive. I have tried installing using both USB ports and in clean mode as per the Logitech website and I still cannot this software to install. The webcam is working except I have no sound and the Logitech microphone on the webcam is not appearing on the Logitech software.

I am signed is as an adminstrator on my laptop.

Could this be because All Programs/Accessories/Entertainment does not include Sound Recorder on my laptop?
