Dell Inspiron N7010 ethernet

Hi guys.

I have Dell inspiron N7010 with installed Atheros AR8152 PCI-E Fast Ethernet Controller. Does it mean that my LAN card communicates only at 10/100 MBps?

I need a Gigabit LAN. What should I do?

That's what i found

Compatible Products:

Atheros AR81xx Series PCI-E Ethernet Controller

  • AR8121/AR8113/AR8114 Atheros PCI-E Ethernet Controller - PCI \ VEN_1969 & DEV_1026
  • Atheros AR8131 PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Controller - PCI \ VEN_1969 & DEV_1063
  • Atheros AR8132 PCI-E Fast Ethernet Controller - PCI \ VEN_1969 & DEV_1062
  • Atheros AR8151 PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Controller - PCI \ VEN_1969 & DEV_1073, PCI \ VEN_1969 & DEV_1083
  • Atheros AR8152 PCI-E Fast Ethernet Controller - PCI \ VEN_1969 & DEV_2060, PCI \ VEN_1969 & DEV_2062

So to have Gbit LAN should I instal Atheros AR8131 or Atheros AR8151 ethernet controller?

I don't know english very well, sorry for mistakes and help me please, it's very important.

The onboard controller is 10/100 - and since there's no Express Card slot, you have only two options:

Return the system and buy a higher-end model, or

Use a USB 2.0 gigabit adapter:
