Dell Studio 1745 Screen flickering
Hi
I have a Dell Studio 1745 laptop.
Recently my screen started flickering on and off.
The screen starts flickering right after switching on the laptop (while dell logo is visible).
It even flickers when I am in the BIOS settings menu.
So I think it is a hardware problem.
I connected the laptop to an external screen.
The external monitor didn't flicker, so I think it's a problem with the screen and not the motherboard or video card ?
Does anybody has the same issue ?
Does replacing the screen fix the problem ?
How much will a new screen cost ?

Hello
I have a Dell S 2340 M desktop monitor and I do not know if desktops are included i this thread.
My new Dell monitor, 1 month , seems to slightly flicker when I close out a screen at the x. It does not do it all the time and you would hardly notice it if you were to use the PC once.
It is not very noticeable but I don't think it is normal to do this.
Do you have an opinion?
