Dell Vostro 3750 i5 to i7???
Hi, can I upgrade Dell Vostro 3750 from i5-2430m to i7-2630QM without any problems? Which CPU is better? Maybe stay with i5?

And some more questions... What is powerfull stock CPU for dell vostro 3750? It's i7-2670qm? And maybe I can put more powerfull?

The 2630QM shipped in this model and should work - the 2760QM may, but may not be supported, as it was not shipped in this model.

An SSD (vs. a conventional hard drive or hybrid drive) will do far more for the system overall than any CPU or RAM upgrade will.

Somewhere in old comercial I see Vostro with i7-2670QM, but there is no big difference between i7-2630QM, about ~7%. I'm thinking to upgrade it, but don't know how much performance I get from it. Maybe better get ssd or more ram?

I had i3 2310M (vostro 3750 without dedicated gpu) and upgraded successfully to i7 2670QM.
I am using Windows 10 and tried also on Ubuntu 17.04.
