Dell Wireless 5530 HSPA Mobile Broadband Minicard Device

I havenot used the device in a while and just went to use it again. Now it says it can not communicate with device. I can see the card in my network conections but the Dell mobile broadband manager cant connect with it. Tried re installing all the software and still no go... Anyone got any ideas?? Still running XP Pro

Hi CJBHVAC,

You may completely uninstall the driver from the ‘Device Manager’ by following the steps below:

  • Press ‘Windows’ key + R on ‘Desktop’ screen.
  • Type ‘devmgmt.msc’ in run box and press ‘Enter’.
  • Click + sign next to ‘Network adapters’.
  • Right click on wireless card option and click ‘Uninstall’.

You may reinstall the driver from the link: http://dell.to/14vcr5w.

I tried what you said... Broadband manager is still not communicating but I can see card in device manager and can see it it network connections.....I have an E6400
