Dell XPS 15 L502X - BR Drive not able to burn discs
My laptop drive is unable to burn discs. I am getting following error on Roxio:
Roxio extended error 0x80041024
Tried other open source alternatives, but ran into similar errors. Is it drive hardware problem or some problem with Windows?

Hi,
Did you try any other burning software?
Reinstall the roxio software if you can.

Hi,
Yes, I have tried Infra recorder. Also tried in Ubuntu as well.
I am getting similar errors.

I have tried re-installing. Still not able to burn disc. Getting a different message, but result is same.

Please find the below link, try the resolution steps then restart the machine and let us know how it goes after that.

Link provided refers to Windows Vista. Please confirm if it's safe to follow the same instructions on Windows 8.1
