Dell XPS M1530 with Intel Centrino Ultimate-N 6300

Can anyone help me find a driver that actually works with this configuration??  The drivers from the intel site seemed to install, but I still get an exclamation point next to the device in device manager and in properties for said device, it says, "device cannot start"

Where can I get drivers that actually work??

Hi metalmuscle

Welcome to the community,

The drivers for the Intel Centrino Ultimate-N 6300 can be downloaded from the below link

Drivers link: - downloadcenter.intel.com/SearchResult.aspx

In case it doesn’t work please try restating the wireless card of your computer and perform the above step once again.

metalmuscle,

Code 10 is a driver issue.

Did you recently install/reinstall the operating system?

metalmuscle,

Did you install the drivers, then shutdown the computer. Unplug it from the wall. Remove the battery. Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds. Attach the wireless adapter. Plug the computer back in and power on.

Can you run an ipconfig /all log and post it back here.

Did you ever resolve this issue?  I'm having the exact same problem!
