E6420 no recovery disk

hi,  my dell refurbished E6420 did not come with a recovery disk or a means to create one that i can see.  There is a  small100mb partition on the drive (I have replaced the HDD provided with an SDD) but the Dell back up recovery utility on installation said that the drive does not have the windows recovery environment and would not install.

I can't seem to find how i can get the recovery disks as all roads seem to lead to the backup and recovery software.

is there somewhere i can download an iso image?
