Ethernet controller was not recognized

Hi,

I have a dell inspiron N5110 laptop and it worked perfectly for last few months. Suddenly yesterday i couldn't connect to internet ( i use a wire connection ) and my USB 3 controllers were not working. Then i check in the device manager and those devices were not shown in there. Then i did a format of system files and then reinstall the driverse. still the usb 3 doesnot work. When the setup for the ethernet card is installed it says that the card cannot be found.. Do i have to repair my laptop?

Hi,

Welcome to the Community. If you have just reinstalled Windows, then you need to install drivers in the correct order, or some devices may not work or install correctly. Use the below links on how to install drivers in the correct order.

If this does not work, and if you have not formatted your recovery partition try a Factory Restore. Use the below link for help.

Thank you.
