Failure to boot-up
Computer starts, lights flash and then immediately turns off. Will not boot up....screen remains black. Is it my power button??

No - the power button is just a relay. If the system powers up as described, something else is wrong.
What model system?

That would be a Studio 1749. Is there an image on an external monitor?
