Hard disk loose contact issue with Latitude 3450 any permanent solution for this?

i am facing problem with Hard disk loose contact issue with Latitude 3450 and it is happening very frequently is there any solution for this

i have done this and it is working fine but still there is some loose contact with the socket which is in motherboard side, actually the hard disk cable is not able to fix tightly into the hdd socket

Hi,

Just curious to ask,

is it possible to try this HD on a different lat 3450 to check if the cable locks in properly. We can conclude if its the socket on motherboard or the HDD connector at fault.

this Hard disk is absolutely fine with different laptop, we have many different types of  laptops like latitude 3450, 3440, vostro 2520 and 3000 etc  but only this loose contact problem is showing with this 3450 models only

we have 10 laptop in this same model Latitude 3450 and all laptops are in warranty (less than 3 to 4 months old) we are already facing this issue with 6 laptop out of 10

Do PM us the system tag#. If the system is under warranty, we will get it repaired.

Lets us first repair any one of the machines, if the issue fixes, then we will get the remaining repaired as well.
