How to connect the U2711 to an XPS 17 L702X?
A few months ago I bought the XPS laptop (L702X) with 3GB GeForce GT 555M Graphics Card.
I'm planning to buy the U2711 for use as a external monitor. My questions: is the laptop capable of driving the 2560*1440 resolution (deep color) and what port do I need to use for connection with the laptop (HDMI or mini-Displayport)?

I have the U2711 (2560x1440) connected via its Displayport and its working perfectly. HDMI is limited to 1080p.

I would like to ask if you achieve this resolution (2560x1440) at 60Hz through Displayport with L702x
