I am restoring a Latitude e6500, how do I determine which wireless hardawre I have?
Dell system config is not helpful here. The Drivers and Utilities disk list many options, but how do I know wht I have in my laptop? Shipped 2009 May, so out of warranty, should not ahve to pay for this info.

Use the system service tag to look up the Original Configuration at support.dell.com -- or, remove the base cover and check the label on the card itself.
