Inspiron 15-3567, Ubuntu, no sound in headphones after boot up
I'm having issues with Inspiron 15-3567 audio jack. If I plug in my headphones and then turn computer on and boot up Ubuntu 16.04 or Arch Linux there's no sound coming from the headphones nor speakers. If I try to change volume, mute/unmute nothing happens. The only solution I found is to unplug headphones (then speakers starts playing) and plug in headphones back. So we can only conclude that Dell does not have specifically tested Ubuntu audio drivers. You should ask the users here on the Linux board to see if they also have the issue and what driver workarounds they may have discovered.
