Inspiron 3537 three ports not working
Dell Inspiron 3537 laptop
Windows 7
Three USB ports are not detecting any device.
Ran Dell checkup. USB ports test failed.
What may be wrong?

Try them is safe mode (how you get there depends on the OS that's installed). If they don't work at all in Safe Mode, it's a hardware failure and the mainboard will need to be replaced.
If they DO work in safe mode, have you reloaded the operating system? If so, what OS? And did you install the chipset driver and USB 3.0 drivers afterward?
