Inspiron 7537 15 laptop wireless card - disappeared

My laptop (Dell Inspiron 7537 running Windows 8.1) has lost all ability to connect wirelessly.

When looking in Device Manager, the card doesn't appear any more (it used to), and I can't see any networks unless the ethernet cable is plugged in.

Bluetooth works. All drivers have been updated according to Intel's Prosite thing.

Laptop (and Dell Support contract) are out of warranty by a couple of months.

I've run the diagnostic tests on the Dell Support site (when connected via ethernet) and it says everything is fine. If I disconnect the ethernet cable, the site obviously can't load so won't do any diagnostics.

Is there any way to revive my network card? Does it need to be replaced?

Cheers for any assistance!

Power off.

Try re-seating the wifi card.

Will give that a try, yep.

I can still connect to the laptop via Bluetooth, is that handled by the wireless card as well? Or is there another component to handle bluetooth if the wireless card is faulty?
