Inspiron 7560 random shutdowns

I bought a new Inspiron 7560 about a week ago. The laptop shuts down automatically when on AC power ( works fine on battery). I initially thought it was due to flea power so I drained the flea power but still the same issue. Sometimes it shuts down within a few minutes sometimes works properly for days. I checked the bios power logs. There is a event - `Shutdown - AHCI power off`. Not sure what's going on?

Hi Robert,

Thanks for the reply but I found the problem. It was the Arch kernel causing the problems. I don't know due to some reason Arch Linux latest kernel keeps on crashing with Inspiron 7560. I changed my OS now everything is working fine.

Thanks anyways ')

Hi xadahiya,

Thanks for posting.

Have you tried a different power supply?  If you purchased directly from Dell, you may need to call tech support and troubleshoot with them.
