Inspiron N5010 Plugged In, Not Charging

After downloading all the drives available for my model, and following all the tips and suggestions on how to get my laptop to charge its battery,  removing plugs, batteries etc, I got hold of a magnifying glass and peered at the connection inside the laptop to find a collection of slightly bent prongs. Four around the outside and the one I missed untill I got a magnifying glass two in the middle. Once arrange so the middle ones were not touching the outer ones., the laptop charges as normal. I hope this helps someone else.
