Inspiron N5050 Failed Targeted Read
It appears that my hard Drive was Faulty when I bought it from the Failed items and the dates from the tests that were automatic. Due to a lot of illness and being computer illiterate...I did not know any of this and now warranty has expired. Do I have to replace Hard drive? Or would it be in my best interest just to buy a new laptop?

Run an extended hard drive diagnostic (F12 at powerup). If the drive fails, it will need to be replaced; there's no need to spend several hundred dollars on a new system for the sake of a $50 hard drive that's failed.
