Inspiron15r 7520 numpad/issue
I received my laptop a few days ago. I knew when i ordered that it comes without numpad,but i thought i can activate numpad on my regular keyboard with numlock or Fn combinations. Nothing works,made some researches,but still nothing about this issue. Could somebody help me with this?

A possible solution might be "autohotkey" - the video shows how to use it (works for me/Windows 7/inspiron 1545)

Hi Shadowy,
In older computers there used to be a numpad separately on keyboard, which could be activated by pressing numlock key. However in your computer, there is no specific key to activate the numbers on the keyboard. You would be able to use the numbers by just pressing the keys with numbers.
Please reply for further clarifications.

My problem is that some programs/games need keys from the numpad,and the controls can't be changed/reset and my number keys don't work like a numpad with them.In those programs that enable resetting of the keys it's okay.

I'm using autohotkey too.This is the only solution I found.

It is working as designed. You can use autohotkey to play and change the key controls.
