Ispiron 17 7779 - USB Boot`

I have been trying to install Windows 10 Professional via USB and for some reason I cannot get the laptop to see the USB boot device. Any tips would be greatly appreciated,. F12 has not gotten me anywhere.

Just making sure you're doing the steps correctly:

1. Power on system. Insert the USB flash drive into port, wait a few minutes, and then power off system

2. Power on computer, quickly start taping F12 continuously until you see Preparing one time boot menu in the top right corner of the screen. At the boot menu, select the windows 10 USB drive  under UEFI BOOT

That is a new system.  Mine came with the Pro version but others just have Home.  Are you upgrading to Pro, which normally means an install from within the Home version?

The USB drive has to be set up a specific way and being formatted as FAT 32 using the x64 bit version is required.

Are you trying to install to another drive such as an M.2?

Note:  I just contacted Dell and informed them their website was behind as far as our model since no products showed compatibility.
