Isspiron 1545 touchpad mouse not working after new driver update

I have a Inspiron 1545.  The Dell thing popped up and said updates were available for downloading.   The update for the mouse was in there so I clicked it and it updated, now the mouse no longer works.  I redid it and same thing, I then reset the PC to a prior date and still nothing.

The only way to have a mouse now is to use a corded one attached to the laptop which defeats the whole purpose.

PLEASE help :(
