Latitude 3340 Battery replacement
I'm on Dell Techdirect trying to request a battery replacement under warranty but the field that says "Part Serial Number" doesn't accept anything I type into it. I've tried everything I can find on the battery itself and the laptop but there isn't a proper 25 character code on them. Where can I find this information?

Think I figured it out myself. I used a QR Code reader to read the QR on the back of the battery (those codes are mighty small I probably misread it before) then only typed in the first 20 characters even though it goes to 25. that 20 character code was accepted so I'll probably resort to this method in the future.

This was the one number I hadn't tried, and boy what a squint job! It did work though, so I was able to move forward with the warranty request! Super cool, thanks for posting your findings.
