P4 2.4 GHz vs i7 2.20 GHz

This is a requirement for a game: 2.4 GHz P4 processor or equivalent, and this is a processor I have on my laptop: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2670QM CPU @2.20 GHz Does my CPU meets the requiremen, and if not, why? Thanks!
