PCmia help please

I want to use one of the slots on the side of my laptop (I think these are PCMIA slots?) for USB2 so I can plug in peripherals. I have no idea what I'm after product wise. Can anyone point me in the right direction with regards to what it is I need.

Thanks Awaken

Apologies for my lack of knowledge

those slots are PC card slots(PCMIA).  I don't know if there are pc cards that convert to usb 2.0 ports, but i think u can plug usb 2.0 devices into regular usb ports and the usb devices still work.

I hope this info helps.

Awaken, what you are looking for is a PCMCIA card. Something like this will do the job http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/products/index.html?action=c2hvd19wcm9kdWN0X292ZXJ2aWV3&product_uid=60615

Sorry is english, but im sure you can find a US equivalent.
