Question D610 - Power Supply

I have two D610 Laptops and one receives an error that it doesn't recognized the power pack.  If I use the same power pack on the other D610 it works fine and charges the battery.... Question what could be wrong with the first D610.... I checked the connectors on the unit and they look fine......
