Replacing a M90 motherboard with an M6400 motherboard?
Will the two interchange?
I'm so frustrated that the M90 has a 3.254 g limit on the RAM. A 6400 has 16g capability.

No way - the M90 was one of the last D-series Dell Precisions. The M6400 is based on the E-series. Other than the hard drives, nothing inside will interchange.

Thanks for the information.
Is there ANY way to be able to "upgrade" the M90. It is bound by the 4gig limit on the RAM and It is a darn shame to toss it without trying to rev it up. ( is there any motherboard that has a higher capacity RAM that will interchange with the M90)?
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
