Replacing battery under warranty

I did a search for this subject, and I found one persons query which seemed to be handled, but there wasn't a procedure there for getting this done.

My laptop is under warranty and we got the "your battery has experienced a permanent failure and needs to be replaced" message.

Can you help me out?

You must call Dell Support and walk through the troubleshooting with the technician.  Use the contact link below to find the phone number in your location.

Hi Elijah,

I am facing the similar problem with my Dell Inspiron 3521. Error 'your battery has experienced a permanent failure and needs to be replaced'

Please guide me in fixing the same.
