Screen/Hardware Issue on Inspiron 1521
Hi there,
After about 15 minutes of playing on my laptop, the screen goes black, then the computer turns off. When I try to restart it, the computer will come on but won't do anything besides show a black screen. After turning it off, removing and replacing the battery the computer will start up normally for about another 15 minutes, but then does the same thing. Anyone know what this might be?

It is most likely a bad backlight or inverter. Is there a good image on an external monitor when the internal one is black?

Sorry it took me so long to respond, whenever I posted this the problem stopped. However, it has just started again. I waited for it to happen again and, no, there is no image on an external monitor when it goes blank.
