Screen Problem
The laptop switches on but the screen remains dark. In some cases a faint image is visible on the screen.
I changed the Panel LCD but the same problem I changed the LCD cable but the same problem I tested the screen on the different laptop worked very well I do not know what is the problem

Hi MuhammadBakr,
Thanks for posting.
It would appear that the video card in this older laptop is beginning to fail. Please post the model number and operating system so the experts here can better answer your question. Thanks.

Do you get the same results using an external monitor?

A GT525 would mean a system of about four years old - it may or may not be worth the repair you're going to need. The system board needs to be replaced -- this will be a few hundred dollar repair. You may be better off replacing the system.

Depends on the exact system model, CPU and GPU - what model Inspiron is it? Inspiron N5110, 5531, 5371, etc.?
Ballpark would be $300-400 with labor for most systems.

With the i7 and discrete video, board is about $200.

Add $100 or so for labor if you have a shop change it.
