Studio 17 Touch Sensitive Media Buttons spontaniously going off.

So I've had my laptop since January 18th... and since the day i got it all the media buttons, not just the eject button, go off by them selves, i've tried cleaning the cover... i've tried removing the battery and holding down the power button etc. frankly i've done everything i can think of short of pull the thing out simply because i dont want to break my new laptop because of those annoying buttons... the fact is im wondering if there is any solution or if i should just go ahead and rip the thing out cuz i'd rather not have the useless buttons at all because at the present time i cant listen to music or watch movies on this laptop, not to mention those little pop ups on the screen from the volume and eject are very irritating.
