What is my warranty status?
When I check for the warranty status of my laptop, I am told that the country is unknown, the ship date is January 01, 0001, and start and end date are empty. See screenshot below.
I bought it used at an online auction, but think that it might still be under warranty. How can I find out if it is?

You'll need to contact the seller/registered owner of the system -- you can only transfer a warranty if the current registered owner can be reached for verification and/or initiates the process.
