1. Turn off computer > Press and hold “D” and turn on the computer. Solid colors will appear on the screen. In case, the issue persists there as well, LCD assembly needs to be replaced. You can also perform the next step to confirm the same. 2. Please check the quality of the display with an external display. 3. If the video displayed on the external monitor is fine, LCD assembly needs replacement.

Please perform LCD BIST (Built In Self-Test).
1. Turn off computer > Press and hold “D” and turn on the computer. Solid colors will appear on the screen. In case, the issue persists there as well, LCD assembly needs to be replaced. You can also perform the next step to confirm the same.
2. Please check the quality of the display with an external display.
3. If the video displayed on the external monitor is fine, LCD assembly needs replacement.
