Wifi connection problem
Hi, I am new in community. i am using dell inspiron N5110 15R 64bit. when i connect to the wifi it connects but a few munites later it disconnected automaticaly or showing full network but disconnected i need to reconnect. but an other laptop beside me as HP and Sony Vio working well. whats the problem i don't understand. i am fedup with this.
please give me solution.....

What wireless adapter are you using? Also what application do you have managing that card.. Wireless is one of those technologies that can be affected by many things including those next to you, your wireless router and even the furniture and walls around you.

i have driver- microsoft virtual wifi miniport adapter, version 6.1.7600.16385.

I guess I need to be more specific, make and model of the card please and the name of the application you open to connect to your wifi network. That virtual driver sounds like a windows generic driver. You should always try to use the manufactures driver when possible.

So the members can help you better, Can you run Finding System Information REMOVE YOUR PRODUCT ID, if using XP, run an ipconfig /all log and post it back here.

Go to Drivers & Downloads enter your service tag number, then select your operating system. Under Network, download and install the latest drivers.
I used these tweaks...
Intel ~ Recommended settings for 802.11n connectivity
Start, control panel, device manager. Click on Network and then right click on your wireless adapter, left click properties, power management. Uncheck the box, allow computer to turn off this device to save power.
I went to the power options, and changed the Wireless Adapter Setting, from Maximum Power Setting to Maximum Performance.
